Jon Danao pulled-off an effective Django Workshop. The feedback comments we got from the attendees were quite inspiring. Here are some:

    • “I have been to other meetups in other groups back then (PHP and C#) but Mr. Danao’s walkthrough and presentation showed us how it’s done right.”
    • Got a refreshment about python django and met great people”
    • “…People in the group are very helpfull especially ‘chad’.”
    • “I learned to set up an isolated app in a folder using virtualenv. And many more :)”
    • “I learned how to setup python, code in python, the syntax, and how to setup and use django”
    • “Even i didn’t do hands-on due to my OS(win7). i learned a lot django stuff. The whole topic are informational for me as a newbie in the language. i learned also, that next time i will used linux(ubuntu) machine.”

Too bad we forgot to take more pictures during the workshop since we were all focused on doing the hands-on activities that Jon prepared ;)

If you’re curious about the workshop contents, the slides are up here.
